Permissions and hierarchy
Discord role hierarchy still decides whether the bot can act on a member. Place the bot role above roles it needs to manage and grant only the permissions required by the enabled workflow.
Staff workflow
- Review the member and available evidence before acting.
- Select the narrowest supported action and duration.
- Record the reason without pasting secrets or unrelated personal data.
- Confirm the Discord result and review the available audit entry.
Failure behavior
A denied hierarchy check does not mean the member action succeeded. Resolve the role or permission issue, then retry from the same server workspace.
